What's Included?
Who Should Use the A60, Cryo/Cuff and Cooler Unit Saver Pack?
This recovery pack is ideal for anyone in the latter stages of recovery from an ankle injury, or those who have suffered ankle injuries in the past looking to avoid re-injury. The rollover protection and stability provided by the A60 is perfect for ankles recovering from sprains, while the Aircast Cryo/Cuff and Cooler Unit combine to provide unrivalled targeted cold therapy to the ankle, ideal for reducing swelling and supporting recovery.
What If I Have Recently Injured My Ankle?
This kit is recommended for minor injuries and the latter stages of recovery from more severe ankle injuries. If you are looking to support your ankle after a more recent severe injury, we recommend the Aircast Three-Stage Recovery Pack to provide you with more robust support in the early stages of your recovery.
Why Choose the Aircast Cryo/Cuff and Cooler Unit?
Combining a contoured cuff for targeted cold therapy of the ankle with a continuously feeding cooler, these two items can provide cold therapy to the ankle for up to eight hours. When the Aircast Cooler Unit is placed on a surface above the Aircast Cryo/Cuff, ice-cold water will cycle through the cuff and around your ankle, ensuring cryotherapy is provided to all areas of the ankle without any loss of efficiency.
Why Is Cold Therapy Beneficial?
The Cold Therapy Cryo/Cuff Unit provides up to eight hours of cryotherapy to the area you wish to target. This type of therapy is thought to reduce discomfort and inflammation while also improving blood flow in the area. This is particularly useful if you've suffered from an injury or you've undergone surgery and require targeted pain relief without the use of painkillers.

How Does the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace Prevent Sprains and Rollovers?
This ankle support features a sleek stabiliser that goes from one side of your ankle to the other, resting comfortably under the arch of your foot. The proprioceptive nature of the brace means you are more subconsciously aware of where you are placing your foot, reducing the risk of further injury.
Unlike traditional ankle supports, which are often designed with a 90° angle, the A60 supports the ankle at 60°. This is akin to the angle of your foot during activities, making the A60 Ankle Support ideal for preventing sprains and ankle rollover during sports.
Which Size A60 Do I Need?
While the Aircast Ankle Cryo/Cuff is supplied in one universal and adjustable size, the Aircast A60 Ankle Support is available for the left and the right foot in sizes Small, Medium, and Large. Please see the table below for details.
Size | Men's UK Shoe Size | Women's UK Shoe Size | EU Sizing |
Small | Up to Size 5 | Up to Size 5.5 | Up to Size 38 |
Medium | Size 6 to 8.5 | Size 6.5 to 9.5 | Size 39 - 42 |
Large | Size 8.5+ | Size 9.5+ | Size 42+ |
What Should I Do if I Fall Between Sizes?
If your shoe size falls between two sizes, we suggest selecting the larger of the two sizes for comfort. However, if you would prefer a snug fit, please select the lower of the two sizes. If your ankle is swollen and you are close to a sizing boundary, we would advise choosing a larger size.

A number of exercises are provided on the Ankleciser product page.
Can I Wear the A60 Ankle Support On Either Foot?
As the Aircast Ankle Brace features an anatomical shape to fit with the curves of your ankle, it should be worn only on the specified foot. If you find that you have a particularly protruding ankle bone, we recommend that you boost the comfort of your A60 Ankle Brace with a gel sleeve.
Can I Wear This Brace on Both Ankles?
Yes! If you have previously suffered sprains on both ankles and wish to protect against a similar injury in the future, then wearing an A60 on each ankle is a good measure to prevent against sprains and ankle rollover.
Will the A60 Brace Fit Inside My Normal Shoes?
With a low-profile design that doesn’t bulk out your footwear, you can wear the A60 Ankle Support inside virtually any trainer, football boot, hiking boot or shoe. As you can see from the image below, the brace contours to your ankle shape without excessive bulk, making sure it won’t compromise your footwear and your comfort.
How Easy Is It to Put On the A60 Brace?
This lightweight ankle brace is quick and easy to put on, allowing you to strap it on in a matter of seconds. All you need to do is secure the internal sleeve at the front of your ankle with the hook-and-loop fastener, and then bring the single strap around the back of your ankle and up through the plastic buckle on the outside of your ankle. This can then be adjusted to be as loose or as tight as you require.

Do I Wear Socks with the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace?
It’s best to wear the Aircast A60 brace on top of a sock. Not only will this make it more comfortable, but it will also prevent it from moving around while you’re active. There’s no need to compromise your warmth while playing sports outdoors!
What Is Anti-Migration and How Does the A60 Stay In Place?
As the A60 Ankle Support wraps under the arch of the foot, anchoring the support in the correct position, the ankle brace is prevented from migrating up the leg during use. This means that the brace reduces the risk of the brace moving out of its correct position and limits the time you need to spend repositioning the brace during sport or activity.
What’s the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace Made Of?
This brace is made from special Breathe-O-Prene fabric, while the stabiliser inside the ankle brace is made from a moulded plastic to provide reliable support at a 60° angle. Although rigid enough to provide effective stability, the stabiliser is not uncomfortable, providing reliable and lightweight ankle support. A full list of actual materials include:
- Nylon
- Spandex
- Polyester
- Polypropylene Resin
- Polyethylene Foam
